Sit-on-Top Kayaks are easier
to get on and off, even in deep
water. The cockpit itself bails
easily to prevent swamping but can
be a wet ride due to scrupper holes,
paddle drip and overspray.
Sit-in Kayaks have recessed
cockpits that lower your center of
gravity increasing stability and are
drier. Topwater kayaks have
bulkheads at each end for flotation
and dry storage compartments.
